Annie Nishida is a writer + illustrator from the San Gabriel Valley, CA. She is a fourth-generation Japanese American with an affinity for combining comedy and genre to explore the hilarity and horror of growing up. She is a WGA + TAG member who was previously staffed on GABBY DURAN & THE UNSITTABLES (Disney Channel), and ROBOGOBO (Disney Junior), and was most recently a Story Editor on BUNK'D: LEARNING THE ROPES (Disney Channel). Annie has written over 40 episodes of television, and developed original animated projects with Hulu and Apple.
Outside of tv writing, Annie writes and illustrates emo comics, which she exhibits at indie publishing events across California. She is a competitive synchronized ice skater and her life goal is to summon a ghost on the Queen Mary.
