Ellie Guzman is a former healthcare worker turned comedy writer who has staffed on Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight. She has also written freelance scripts for Hot Wheels: Let’s Race! (Mattel/Netflix), Pupstruction (Disney), Archibald’s Next Big Thing is Here! (Dreamworks/Peacock), and other NDA projects at Dreamworks, Disney, Netflix, SpinMaster, and others. Ellie has also done development in the TV space for Dreamworks, SpinMaster, and Rehab Entertainment in partnership with The Henson Company and Apple. Though her projects range widely in age ranges and genres, Ellie loves bringing elements of humor to each, from the lightly silly to the darkly deranged. An LA native and first generation Salvadoran-American, Ellie can often be found lurking around East Hollywood and Koreatown. She enjoys cooking, gaming, needlework, and doing yoga so that she can say “ugh, I just did yoga” while wearing sunglasses and holding a big smoothie. In addition to her television work, Ellie runs the successful satirical magazine Lady Pieces and wrote a book of humorous essays about being the poorest kid in the room titled Rags to Rags.
