Bill Damaschke is the President of Warner Bros. Pictures Animation, overseeing development and production for the feature animation division. He is shaping a new creative direction at Warner Bros. Discovery, expanding cross-divisional opportunities across multiple platforms. Damaschke plans to deliver a slate of animated films for a global audience, including originals like Bad Fairies and Margie Claus, as well as IP-based films like Cat in the Hat and Dynamic Duo in partnership with DC Studios.
Damaschke began his career at DreamWorks, advancing from production assistant to Chief Creative Officer. He led successful franchises like Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon, Madagascar, and The Croods. He also oversaw live theatrical productions, including the award-winning Shrek The Musical.
Through his independent production company, StoryKey Entertainment, Damaschke produces theatrical productions like The Prom and Moulin Rouge, which won 10 Tony Awards. Additionally, he served as a producer on Shark Tale, Over the Hedge, and Kung Fu Panda.
