Tikklil is an Indian artist and storyteller whose art encompasses intimacy, relationships, travel, displaced memoir and the a-spec experience, with a healthy serving of character drama. They are currently based in San Francisco, working towards building their childhood dream of telling relatable character-driven stories for a living— otherwise known as coming up with little guys and putting them in situations.
They have been published by Viz Manga One-Shots and WEBTOON Originals, and earned a feature in Rolling Stone India. In 2022, they published ‘Get Set Procreate 5’, an instructional guidebook to the digital painting application Procreate.
When they’re not drawing, they are usually looking for trails to hike, trying to survive running a mile, pondering the meaning of life or gazing lovingly at their friends.
