Spencer Williams is a producer and writer, as well as the creator and host behind The Art of Costume and The Art of Costume Podcast, where he and his team shine a spotlight on the costume designers, assistant costume designers, illustrators, and crews who bring your favorite films and TV series to life. As a writer, editor, and curator, Spencer takes audiences on a journey through the intricate worlds of costumes and fashion in period pieces, science fiction, and fantasy—exploring realms such as Middle Earth, Arrakis, and Crimson Peak. In addition to his editorial work, Spencer is a regular speaker at San Diego Comic-Con and moderates conversations for major entertainment brands such as HBO Max and Netflix, as well as industry organizations including the Costume Designers Guild. With a heavily iced Coke in hand and a passion for storytelling through design, Spencer continues to inspire and educate audiences on the artistry of costume design.
