David was born in Jersey City and raised in Manalapan, New Jersey. Growing up infatuated with the arts and music, he spent his childhood splitting his time between drawing and playing piano and trumpet.
He graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City in 2010 with a BFA in Illustration, before moving to Los Angeles, California in January 2015 to pursue a career in the animation industry. He began as a Prop Designer for Disney Television Animation, and hasn't looked back since.
Most recently, he art directed GOLDEN AXE at Titmouse, Inc and is currently an Adjunct Professor at the California Institute of the Arts, teaching Advanced Character Design.
Previously, he art directed “INVINCIBLE FIGHT GIRL” for Cartoon Network Studios.
His clients include Cartoon Network, Netflix Animation, Titmouse, Disney Television Animation, Chronicle Books, Dreamworks TV, Warner Bros, Sony Animation, and Bento Box, among others.
He lives in Los Angeles with his fiance.
