Anoosha Syed is a Pakistani-Canadian author, illustrator, and character designer based in Dallas, Texas. Over the past decade, she has illustrated more than 40 picture books, with clients spanning Google, Netflix, Disney, and Target. Her debut That's Not My Name! is a beloved back-to-school staple, Lost Stick won the 2025 Blue Spruce Award, and Bilal Cooks Daal earned an APALA Honor. Known for her vibrant, emotionally resonant style, her work champions stories and voices that deserve to be seen.
