Herringbone Animation is an independent animation studio based in Carmel, Indiana specializing in dark whimsical stories for young adult and adult audiences. The studio’s first project, an end credit sequence for ALTER’s “Did You Remember The Cat”, premiered in 2025 to strong critical reception and numerous festival awards. Since then, the studio has successfully crowdfunded its first short film, “Planet Jane”, premiering June 10th as part an ongoing anthology series of contemporary fairytales titled “Fables”.
