As a Head of Look, Sondra Verlander leads the charge in shaping how artistic visual styles are implemented in the pipeline and brought to life on screen. With a background in lighting and look development, Sondra enjoys breaking the standard molds to find innovative ways to achieve a film's visual language. Prior to joining Forgotten Island, Sondra served as a CG Supervisor on The Wild Robot, where she helped pioneer many of the film's signature stylized looks and lighting techniques. Having spent over 15 years in feature animation at DreamWorks, she brings a deep expertise in bridging artistic direction with complex technical execution.
