Tyler Jacobson is an award-winning artist of science fiction and fantasy illustration. His extensive body of work includes countless pieces for Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons. Additionally, Jacobson’s illustrations have appeared in multiple books and magazines with Simon & Schuster, TOR, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, Men’s Journal, Runner’s World, Texas Monthly, The Weekly Standard, and Scientific American, among others. He’s been the recipient of the Jack Gaughan award (2010), the Spectrum 19 Gold Award for advertising, and the Spectrum 23 Gold Award for institutional. Jacobson holds a BFA from Gonzaga University and an MFA from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. He resides in Seattle, Washington and owns a perplexing number of longswords.
