Josh Herrig has been in film and animation for over 20 years, creating acclaimed imagery and leading teams at studios from Pixar Animation Studios to Weta, and currently at Skydance Animation. Most recently, Josh supervised Ray Gunn for Brad Bird and Skydance Animation, delivering one of their most cinematic and expansive films to date. Supervising shows for Skydance Animation, Josh lives in two worlds including traditional VFX Supervisor collaborating on story, art, and shots with artists and Dept. Supervisors. Also, as Client-Side VFX Supervisor where his mandate is to ensure the highest quality performance, storytelling and cinematography from Skydance Animation and their partners. Before Josh joined Skydance, Josh supervised Love, Death & Robots for Tim Miller and Blur Studios on one of the most photo-realistic episodes called Swarm. With degrees in both architecture and in film, Josh has dedicated his career to design and storytelling, working all over the world collaborating with some of the industry's most influential filmmakers, including John Lasseter, Rich Moore, James Cameron, and Peter Jackson.
