Aaron Dem

Aaron Dem has over 30 years of experience in animation and visual effects. Since 2021 he has partnered with Paramount Animation, where he supports the studio and filmmakers in developing animated features. Dem has previously worked with Paramount, DreamWorks Animation and Disney Animation. His credits include How to Train Your Dragon 2, Wonder Park and That Christmas. Dem has also served as VP of Physical Production at Mythos Studios and Head of Production at HB Wink Animation Production. Dem’s career began as a visual effects producer on numerous global blockbusters including Titanic, Space Jam and Armageddon. He later became the VP of Production for Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlin’s Centropolis FX, overseeing visual effects for films such as The Matrix: Reloaded, Maid in Manhattan, The Patriot and Stuart Little. Next Dem established the feature VFX division at Meteor Studios, where he executive produced effects for all projects including Journey to the Center of the Earth, Fantastic Four and Slither. A graduate of California State University, Northridge, Dem holds a B.A. in Radio, Television and Film Production and is a member of the Producers Guild of America.
