Alvi Ramirez (They/Them)
Concept Artist
I'm Alvi, a Production Designer/ Art director / Visdev artist and overall cartoonist. I've been working in animation for 12 years, with clients such as Laika, Paramount, Cartoon Saloon, Axis or BoulderMedia.
I've been involved in mostly features (Spongebob: In Search of the Squarepants, Wishdragon 2, My Father's Dragon, My Little Pony: A new generation) but also TV series and commercials. I'm also a comicbook artist in the French BD market.
Recently I published "La Derniére Nuit d'Anne Bonny" with Editions Le Lombard, which got the Relay 2024 Best Album award, and the BDGest Best First Album award in Angouléme 2025. Before that, I studied Fine Arts in Madrid, and worked as a concept art / character design teacher for a couple of years and done some fantasy illustration work for Panini and other clients.
Currently I'm art directing a film at Able & Baker Studios while doing some freelance gigs on the side
I love to be part of interesting projects that bring something to the table,
I believe in craftsmanship, love care and dedication to tell stories through art and story.
