Amelicart is an illustrator and a concept artist based in Japan. After studying illustration at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, he returned to Japan where he now works across games, animation, and publishing. His clients include Niantic (Pikmin Bloom), Supercell (Squad Busters), Spin Master, Creatures Inc. (Pokémon), Square Enix (Dragon Quest Builders 2), and more. With a style that blends expressiveness and charm, his work spans from app loading illustrations to character design and key visuals. He also serves as a visiting professor at Kyoto University of the Arts, where he teaches stylization of illustration.
