Two-time Emmy award-winner, four-time Annie award nominee Andy Bialk has acted as Lead Character Designer, Visual Development Artist, Storyboard Artist/Writer, Art Director, Children’s Book Illustrator & Creative Director for Illumination’s “Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash!” theme park ride at Universal Studios Hollywood. Clients include: Netflix, Disney, Sony, Illumination, Dreamworks, Paramount, Warner Bros, Nickelodeon & Cartoon Network on a wide range of projects, including the 2019 Academy Award winner Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Ultraman: Rising (Gamma Man), Under The Boardwalk, Minions: The Rise of Gru, The LEGO Movie 1 and 2, The SpongeBob Movie, The Book Of Life, Madagascar 2, How To Train Your Dragon, Shrek 4, and Megamind. In Television, the Mickey Mouse shorts, Dragons: Riders of Berk, The Ricky Gervais cartoon, Star Wars: Clone Wars, Young Jedi Adventures, Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, Samurai Jack, The Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory among others. Andy is currently acting as Art Director with PPM-Public Pixels Media & teaching Character Design at CalArts & PNCA-Pacific Northwest College of Art.
