Anthony Winn

Storyboard Artist
Anthony Lee Winn (born January 1, 1973) is an American comic book artist, writer, illustrator/storyboard artist. He was born in South Vietnam, and arrived in Southern California with his parents. Anthony grew up watching the cartoon shows any other child watched Saturday mornings in the 70’s. After his nationalization, Anthony carved his way to his dream of being a comic book artist. Throughout his early career, he cut his teeth working at Image Comics as a layout/pencil artist. Eventually paving his way to work at other major publishing companies like Marvel and Dark Horse, he then immersed himself into learning and working in animation by studying at The Academy of Entertainment and Technology and Laguna College of Art and Design. The motivated artist found himself juggling many projects that involved story boarding, character designs, animation, and branding. In 2008, he was a key force in launching the new and revamped character, “Stripperella”, in collaborating with Stan Lee. He has also written, produced, and directed an animated music video for Brody Dalle’s “Meet the Foetus” featuring Shirley Manson from Garbage. His current projects include working with Marvel Studios.
