Armand Baltazar is from Chicago where he studied at the Art Institute Chicago, then later graduated from Northern Illinois University with a BFA in Advertising & Editorial Art. Furthering his education, Armand earned a second BFA in Illustration with an emphasis in Visual Storytelling at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena Ca.
Armand began his Visual Storytelling career in feature animation first as a background artist, then as a visual development artist, and art director for DreamWorks Studios, Walt Disney Feature Animation, Image Movers Digital and Pixar Animation Studio.
Armand resides in Los Angeles. He is the Author and Illustrator of the epic illustrated middle-grade novel TIMELESS: Diego and the Rangers of the Vastlantic for HarperCollins Publishing. He has had a 30-year career as a visual development artist, art director, and production designer for DreamWorks Animation, Disney Feature Animation, ImageMovers, Pixar, and Kuku Studios. He is currently production designing for an upcoming DreamWorks animated feature and continuing work on Timeless 2, the second book in the Timeless series.
