Liuyazi (Arya) Hou is a Senior Concept Artist with a decade of experience in the gaming industry. She specializes in creature, character design, and world-building across AAA VR, console, and mobile games. She has worked with studios such as Meta, Ready At Dawn, and Tencent. Contributing to titles including Lone Echo II, Echo Combat, Legendary Game of Heroes, and Dragon Oath. Through her work, she has supported both Eastern and Western mainstream audiences, cultivating versatility in her designs.
Beyond her contributions to the gaming industry, Arya is deeply passionate about contemporary art and clay sculpting. Her personal work delves into bizarre, mystical, and fantastical themes, often drawing inspiration from her lived experiences, emotions, and dance practice. She believes everyone carries a unique creature within, and she is inspired to sculpt it into form. Arya sometimes dances to embody and explore different emotional states and personalities, allowing movement to infuse her sculptures with dynamic energy. Her works have been featured in Beautiful Bizarre Magazine and exhibited at the Tokyo International Art Fair.
