Ashley Boddy, a seasoned storyteller, boasts an illustrious career path. Beginning as a
Story Artist at Aardman Animations after university, he contributed his talents to feature
films such as "Pirates! Band of Misfits," "Shaun the Sheep: The Movie," "Early Man," and
"Shaun the Sheep: Farmageddon," as well as to award-winning television series. In
2017, he transitioned to Locksmith Animation in London, where he served as Head of
Story on projects, "That Christmas" and "Ron's Gone Wrong." Notably, he garnered
recognition with a Vimeo "Staff Pick" for his short film "MoBros Guide to Small Talk...in
Finland," created in support of the Movember Charity's campaign against male cancers.
In 2018, he clinched the prestigious Emile Award for Best Story Artist in Broadcast
Production and received a nomination for the same category in Feature Production the
following year. You might spot him on a bridge in Annecy. Currently, Ashley is working as
the Head of Story at Feature Animation Netflix.
