Concept Artist
Brian Matyas is a concept designer with over 18 years of experience in film, television, video games, and immersive entertainment, specializing in costume and character design within the fantasy and science fiction genres. Best known for his work with Lucasfilm Ltd., Brian led character and costume concept design development for the Emmy Award-winning Ahsoka series, Skeleton Crew, The Acolyte, The Book of Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Mandalorian, and most recently, The Mandalorian & Grogu feature film. His responsibilities have included designing major and supporting characters, costumes, props, keyframes, and select vehicles. Beyond Lucasfilm, Brian contributed concept design for Disney's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and the Galactic Starcruiser experience. His work also includes character design for Dungeons & Dragons with Wizards of the Coast, as well as contributions to award-winning game franchises at Epic Games, Telltale Games, Cloud Chamber and numerous other entertainment projects.
