Christian Alzmann (He/Him)

Concept Artist
After graduating from The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Christian Alzmann was hired into the Industrial Light & Magic art department. During his 19 years at ILM he worked on numerous films as a Senior Art Director until 2018 when he accepted a position at Lucasfilm as a Concept Design Supervisor. Christian is now a member of The Academy of Motion Pictures and his work has been nominated for multiple Art Directors Guild Awards. Among his many film projects are A.I., Men in Black 2, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars Episode Two: Attack of the Clones, War of the Worlds, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, The Jungle Book, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and The Mandalorian. Most notably, Christian is known for the designs of both BB-8 and Grogu (Baby Yoda). As a visual storyteller Christian has also illustrated book covers for Science Fiction and Fantasy novels. His clients include Harper Collins, Penguin Books, IDG and Future Publishing
