Christian Roman (He/Him)
Storyboard Artist
With over 30 years in television and feature animation, Christian’s career spans the history of modern animation. He got his professional start as a layout artist on The Simpsons, eventually rising to Storyboard Supervisor and authoring the show's official manual, "How to Storyboard the Simpsons Way." He later moved to Disney TVA, where he developed and directed Disney’s Fillmore! After wrapping up his time in Los Angeles as a storyboard artist on The Simpsons Movie, Christian moved to San Francisco in 2007 to join Pixar Animation Studios. His first project there was the Oscar-winning Toy Story 3, kicking off a creative run that included every Toy Story short and special, Cars 3, Toy Story 4, Onward, Luca, Dug Days, and Elemental.
Since leaving Pixar in 2024, Christian has lent his talents to powerhouses like Aardman Animation, DreamWorks, and 20th Century Animation. Today, he continues to shape visual stories as Senior Cinematic Artist at Studio MDHR.
