Director Storyboard Artist
South Korean storyboard artist and director of the short film Snow Dog, Christina Park is an emerging artist who has made a strong impact within the animation industry over the years. She has contributed to projects such as AIA’s Tea Leaves, Animation Magazine’s Goofus & Abby, and the animated series Invincible, while continuing to work on exciting, unannounced projects. From her short film receiving numerous Best Animation awards to being invited to judge films at prestigious festivals, Christina has established a strong presence in the animation community. Her love for animation fuels her passion for storyboarding, allowing her work to resonate with audiences around the world. This year, Christina returns to Lightbox Expo ready to share her art, experience, and creative journey with fellow animation enthusiasts and artists.

As an international storyboard artist based in LA, Christina Park has been proactive in establishing herself within the animation industry since graduating from Ringling College of Art and Design. She landed her first professional position at Skybound Entertainment, where she worked on Invincible VS, and has continued to develop her career as a storyboard artist and strengthen her presence within the animation community. In this presentation, Christina will share valuable insights and practical skills, including networking, finding your niche, and developing artistic abilities to help you stand out. Through her personal experiences and career journey, she hopes fellow animation artists can gain a better understanding of what it takes to “break in” and “stay in” the industry.
