Crystal-Jade Vaughan

Concept Artist Character Artist
Crystal-Jade Vaughan is a British Costume Designer and Costume Concept Artist specializing in costume, character, and world-building for science fiction and fantasy film and television. Her credits include Alien: Romulus, Predator: Badlands, Wicked For Good, Supergirl and Masters of the Universe. She served as Costume Designer for Sesame Street with The Jim Henson Company and Soho Productions, designing costumes and original Muppet characters. The production received a BAFTA for Children's Multi-Platform Entertainment and a BAFTA Innovation nomination. She also created costume concept art in collaboration with Academy Award-winning costume designer Paul Tazewell for the Broadway production Death Becomes Her. Collaborative by nature, Crystal-Jade draws lasting inspiration from the practical creature effects, costume craftsmanship, and imaginative world-building of the science fiction and fantasy films and animation that first captured her imagination growing up in the 1980s.
