Dan Caplan (He/Him)

Storyboard Artist
For the past 30 years, Dan Caplan has worked primarily as a Storyboard Artist for episodic television, feature films, and commercials. While attending CSUN as an Illustration/Fine Art major, an exhibit of Star Wars and Apocalypse Now storyboards in the university art gallery inspired him to pursue that career. His long working relationship with some of HBO’s stalwart producers and directors has led to work on recent shows The Penguin and Lanterns, along with many of the streamer's popular shows such as Westworld, Game of Thrones, Watchmen, True Blood, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Six Feet Under. Other TV work includes Fallout, Star Trek:Picard, and Homeland. Feature work includes such titles as Reminiscence, Salt, and I Love You Man. Dan's self published collection of figure drawings, "Figuratively Speaking," is available at Stuart Ng Books and other Los Angeles area stores. He enjoys urban and landscape sketching, occasionally exhibiting his personal work, and is slowly working on an original graphic novel.
