Drawing America was founded in New York City in 2013 by fine artist Simon Levenson. Our instructors include Will Weston, Tony Liberatore, Pascal Campion, Cynthia Halley, and Jordi Lafebre among others. We believe in the power of genuine learning and practice. There are no shortcuts or gimmicks. We are committed to providing a platform where students can hone their skills and grow as artists. Since the beginning, our goal has been to share what we know through decades of studying and practice with those who wish to improve their work. From the absolute beginner to industry professionals and gallery artists, we are here to help you on your artistic journey.    We are honored to have the role.

Dynamic Storyboarding For Action Films

Ballroom F | Drawing America | Anthony Liberatore | Spiro Razatos

Drawing America instructor Anthony Liberatore, storyboard artist for The Fast and Furious series as well as Black Panther, will be in conversation with Spiro Razatos, director of the action sequences for those movies and many others, including Venom, Skull Island, and Captain America. Spiro will show a highlight video of how he became an action director with incredible footage of his own stunts starting in the 70’s. This will be followed by a conversation with both speakers discussing the film industry and sharing their decades of knowledge of what role drawings play in the action film industry.
