Dwayne Turner is an American illustrator known for his work in film, video games, and comics. He began his career in the late 1980s while still a student at the High School of Art and Design and later the School of Visual Arts. Turner started at Marvel Comics, working on titles like Marvel Comics Presents, Avengers Spotlight, and Transformers. He penciled DC's Power of the Atom limited series in 1988 and the first 12 issues of Marvel's Cage from 1992-1993. Turner co-created several notable characters, including James Lucas (Luke Cage) in 1992, Hulk 2099 in 1993, Orpheus in 2001, and Traci Thirteen in 2003. He contributed to Todd McFarlane's Spawn titles from 1996 to 1999 and penciled Wildstorm's The Authority from 2003-2004. Turner’s comics have sold over 3 million copies. After leaving the comics industry in 2006, he transitioned to video games, contributing to 13 AAA titles like God of War, Halo, Def Jam Vendetta, and Gears of War. As a storyboard illustrator, his film credits include Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tron: Legacy, Oblivion, The Jungle Book, Alita: Battle Angel, The Harder They Fall, The Book of Clarence, Morbius, and X-Men Dark Phoenix.
