Edwin Fong (He/Him)

Environment Artist
Edwin Fong is the Environment Design Supervisor at Skybound Animation in Los Angeles, currently working on Invincible. He led the development and early scaling of the studio's 2D/3D environment and background design pipeline, supporting production across multiple departments. With nearly 30 years of experience in environment design, BG layout, visual development, and art direction, Edwin specializes in building environment workflows that translate creative direction into production-ready execution. He leads his team in creating cinematic, story-driven worlds while mentoring artists and maintaining visual consistency across production. Prior to Skybound, he worked across feature and episodic production at Rhythm & Hues Studios, DreamWorks Animation, and Marvel Animation, including The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Incredible Hulk, and How to Train Your Dragon 2. His work also spans Walt Disney Animation Studios (Bolt) and Skydance Animation (WondLa). Earlier in his career, he worked in game development at Neversoft Entertainment on the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater franchise and Spider-Man (2000 video game), before transitioning into art direction and brand work at Dwindle Distribution within the skateboarding industry.
