An Academy and Emmy Award©-winning director, Everett Downing has over 25 years of experience as an animator and story artist at studios such as Disney, Pixar, Blue Sky, Sony, Dreamworks and Netlfix. His impressive resume includes films such as WALL*E, Ratatouille, Up, Toy Story 3, Ice Age, and Maya and the Three. He received an Academy Award for directing the acclaimed animated short film Hair Love with Matthew A. Cherry and Bruce Smith, and an Emmy Award for his contribution to the limited series; We the People from Team Obama. Most recently he created and was the executive producer and show runner of the Emmy and Annie nominated Netflix animated series My Dad the Bounty Hunter with Patrick Harpin, Downing has recently joined Netflix Animation Studios as a Director.
