Hazel Dang is a background, viz dev and plein air artist from Vietnam. She earned a BFA from Emily Carr University and has been in the animation industry in Vancouver for 6 years, on various project from indie to Netflix, Disney, etc. She’s currently working as Matte Painter for the Spiderverse movie at Sony. Hazel’s passion in life is to travel and paint. She wishes to document her life through her paintings. From the most beautiful mountain range to a mundane coffee shop, each brush stroke, shape and colour choice is a physical manifestation of her thought, feeling an emotion. Each painting is a memory she forever treasures.
