Jennifer Jew is an Emmy-award winning editor and most recently served as the Lead Editor on Toy Story 5. She has worked at Pixar since 2009 and prior to that as a freelance film assistant for over 10 years on live-action theatrical features. Jennifer is a graduate of the UCLA Film and Television program and calls the Bay Area home. She designs and builds furniture in her free time and has a weakness for fried food and cake.

In animation, the edit is the movie. Long before final frames are rendered, editors shape story, timing, and emotion using storyboards, animatics, and scratch dialogue—working closely with directors to build the film from the ground up.
