Joe Sulsenti (He/Him)

Traditional Artist Director Storyboard Artist Animator
Joe Sulsenti is a storyboard artist, animator, director, and independent creator working across animation, and live art experiences. He has worked professionally with studios including Nickelodeon, Warner Bros., and Titmouse as both an animator and storyboard artist, developing a strong focus on character-driven storytelling and comedy. Alongside studio work, Joe and his small crew independently develop Boogie Birds, a preschool animated series for YouTube that blends playful humor, music, and expressive character performance. Much of Joe's work focuses on queer representation and inclusive storytelling, inspired by both classic cartoons and contemporary animation. Outside the studio, Joe is also the creator of Drink&DrawLA, a long-running queer-centered figure drawing event in Los Angeles that combines live models, community, performance, and art-making into an energetic social experience for artists of all levels.
