Joey Jones (He/Him)
Director
Joey Jones is a creative director specializing in animation, live action, and VFX, with more than 500 animated spots to his credit. His short films have screened at over 50 international film and animation festivals across 16 countries.
He holds a B.A. in Architecture from The Ohio State University and an M.F.A. from Art Center College of Design, where his thesis focused on experimental animation and narrative studies. Since 2003, he has served as an Adjunct Professor in animation and storytelling at Art Center.
Currently, Joey is Executive Creative Director at Bully Entertainment, leading the Concept and Development department on a diverse range of experiential and narrative projects. His work spans lush character-driven commercials, hyper-real product visualizations, charming stop-motion “toy-mation” films, and XR games and shorts.
Clients include Microsoft, Disney Feature Animation, Mattel, Activision, SEGA, and Paramount Pictures.
