Kathryn Taccone is a co-founder and creative at Open Pixel Studios. She has been an executive for the last 8 years in her business, and has gained experience in multiple industries through her unique background and affiliation with animation, video games, film, and theater. Her passion for understanding how a production comes together drove her to create her own curriculum in college, and helped her gain key insights into how a studio is developed.
She actively supports artists through mentorship programs through Women in Animation, while sharing her expertise by teaching entrepreneurship courses, fostering creativity, and developing technical skills with her mentees.
Outside of work, Kathryn is a self-proclaimed digital nomad, dedicated to building strong creative communities and exploring new ways to connect people through animation.
