Betting on Animation in the Age of Disruption

Maureen Fan

The pace of technical disruption in animation keeps climbing — real-time engines, AI, creator platforms, shortform, and whatever’s next. This opens up new business models and experiences that couldn’t have existed a few years ago. However, it can also create anxiety. We’ve been around long enough to see how the animation industry evolves and ends up for the better. We will always bet on animation. We discuss the skillsets that stay relevant and how we have adapted and revelled in the disruption.
