Maya Lior is a character designer with 17 years of experience in character design and development for animated TV shows. She has worked at studios like Wild Canary, Titmouse, Bento Box, and ShadowMachine. Maya has a passion for creating heartfelt, memorable characters for preschool audiences. She feels fortunate to have contributed to Disney Junior’s Ariel, bringing to life a beloved character that reflects her lifelong love of mermaids. Outside of work, Maya enjoys painting traditionally with gouache and cherishes being a mom to her two little guppies.
