Naicheng Liu is a professional character designer with a strong focus on animation and storytelling. He specializes in visualizing personality, emotion, and narrative through character design, creating expressive moments that bring stories to life.
He holds a Master’s degree in Animation from the University of Southern California (USC) and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Animation from Ringling College of Art and Design, where his thesis film was a finalist for the Student Academy Awards.
Naicheng has worked across a range of 2D and 3D projects, including six animated TV series and seven feature films. His versatile style and deep understanding of character storytelling have helped support directors’ visions and enrich visual development across various productions.
He is always excited to collaborate with fellow creatives and push the boundaries of character design in animation.
