Director
Nigel Tierney is an award-winning director and producer who grew up shoveling cow-shit on a farm in Ireland and somehow parlayed that experience into animating cow-shit in Hollywood. He directed and produced the award-winning EARTH with Lil Dicky and Leonardo DiCaprio, and directed Bad Bunny’s immersive 360° visualizers, garnering over 2.5 billion views. He is currently developing an animated musical with Avenue Q composer Jeff Marx, with a short ADDICTED TO IT starring Dixie D’Amelio making its way through the festival circuit. Nigel directed his first animated feature, GOLDBEAK, released by Lionsgate, and has developed animated projects with Oprah, Willow Smith, J Balvin, Lil Dicky, and Justin Bieber. He previously held creative and technical leadership roles at Verizon’s RYOT and DreamWorks Animation.

Over 15,000 students from 240 schools in 35+ countries, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, India, Israel, Kenya, Lebanon, Mexico, Spain, the UK, the USA, and more have competed simultaneously worldwide.
