My goal is to create content that captures the enduring impact of the media that inspired me during my childhood. Growing up in the early '90s, I was immersed in a world where comic book artists were like rockstars, and Anime was just starting to make its mark in the West. Thanks to 'Anime Saturdays' on the Sci-fi Channel, I discovered Japanese animated masterpieces that left a profound mark on me.
This journey led me to Los Angeles, where I joined the animation industry. Starting as a Supervising Character Designer on 'Black Dynamite: The Animated Series' at Titmouse Inc., I transitioned from my previous role as a comic book artist and seized the opportunity to contribute to beloved characters in animated form such as Spiderman, Batman, Superman, Sonic the Hedgehog, and the Freeman brothers from 'The Boondocks.' I also played a role in bringing new IPs like 'Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts' and 'Blood of Zeus' to life. Recently, I earned my first anime credit for my work on 'Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.'
Currently, I'm an Episodic Director on 'X-men 97' for Disney+, a continuation of the beloved '90s FOX series as well as actively developing new creator-owned IP.
