Sean Sexton

Animator
Sean Sexton is a graduate of the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art in Dover, New Jersey. He began his animation career as a Character Layout Artist on the Emmy Award-winning television series Futurama. Shortly after, he joined DreamWorks Animation, where he has worked for over twenty-three years. Throughout his time at DreamWorks, Sean has contributed as an animator on numerous major films, including Sinbad, Shark Tale, Flushed Away, Over the Hedge, Bee Movie, Monsters vs. Aliens, How to Train Your Dragon, Megamind, Kung Fu Panda 3, and The Boss Baby. He transitioned into a leadership role beginning with Puss in Boots, and served as Supervising Animator for the characters Ugga and Sandy in The Croods. Sean went on to supervise animation for How to Train Your Dragon 2 and 3, and was later promoted to Head of Character Animation for Spirit Untamed. Most recently, he served as HOCA on Kung Fu Panda 4, and is currently leading animation on DreamWorks' upcoming original feature, Forgotten Island. In addition to his studio work, Sean is a senior animation instructor at the online school Animation Mentor, where he mentors aspiring animators from around the world.
