Shabrayia Cleaver, a Los Angeles native, has been in the entertainment industry for over 10 years. After working in live action on various shows and indie features, she transitioned to Animation where she worked her way up to being a Producer. She recently produced the award winning DreamWorks animated short film, ‘Wednesdays with Gramps’ with writer/directors, Chris and Justin Copeland. Some of her animation film credits include 'Kung Fu Panda 3', 'Trolls', 'The Boss Baby', 'Abominable,' and ‘Dog Man.’ In 2021, she was named Animation Magazine’s rising star of animation. As a young Black Woman in the industry, she is passionate about helping create content that pushes boundaries and amplifies diverse voices. Her ultimate mission is to create more opportunities and representation in the animation industry.
