Shanti is a mixed Indonesian-American artist and storyteller currently based in Los Angeles. Hailing from Southeast Asia and New England, they first got into animation working for Axis Animation in Glasgow, Scotland, leading character design for Amazon’s Lost in Oz and Mattel’s Welcome to Monster High. They’ve been designing for animation and games ever since, even spending a couple years as a Google Doodler. They're passionate about research and creating bespoke characters, developing eye-catching visual styles, and working with good people to bring fantastic, fun & epic worlds to life.
Clients have included Titmouse, Cartoon Network, WBA, Netflix, Nickelodeon, The Australia Zoo, Bandai Namco, Tulipop and BOOM!
Outside of creating, Shanti’s usually knee deep in comic books, anime, melodic metal, living history, traveling to find good Indonesian food, or taking some sort of class to get out of their comfort zone (ask them about aerial or pro wrestling sometime).
