Shiyoon Kim is a character designer and art director working in feature animation. His credits include KPop Demon Hunters, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, and The Sea Beast. Through his work, Shiyoon explores how storytelling, proportion, craftsmanship, and contrast can transform a design into a memorable character. He is especially interested in the relationship between character and environment, and in finding visual ideas that feel both unexpected and emotionally true. Alongside his studio work, Shiyoon teaches, lectures, and develops personal projects through Parkim Studios, with a growing focus on creating original stories and connecting directly with audiences.
