Join two-time Academy Award winner Brad Bird for an in-depth look at his long-awaited passion project, Ray Gunn, from Netflix and Skydance Animation. Alongside key collaborators Wendell Luebbe (Art Director), Josh Herrig (VFX Supervisor), and Neysa Bové (Costume Designer), Brad will explore the film’s creative journey, the artistic influences behind its distinctive retro-futuristic aesthetic, and the technical craftsmanship that brought the vibrant world and unforgettable characters of Metropia to life.

Go behind the scenes of Skydance Animation’s Swapped with director Nathan Greno, composer Siddhartha Kholsa, and Heads of Story Kendelle Hoyer and Ray Shenusay for an inside look at the creative collaboration that brought this imaginative world to life.

From the film’s distinctive visual language and richly detailed natural environments to its memorable characters and emotional storytelling, the panel will explore how the filmmakers shaped Swapped from its earliest ideas through final production. Nathan will share his vision for the film, while Kendelle and Ray will discuss developing the characters, world, and narrative. Siddhartha will reveal how music helped define the film’s emotional journey and bring its story to life.
