Stephen Anderson is a director, writer and storyboard artist with over 30 years of experience in the animation industry. At Walt Disney Animation Studios, he was a story artist on 'Tarzan,' story supervisor on 'The Emperor’s New Groove' and 'Brother Bear' and directed the feature films 'Meet the Robinsons' and 'Winnie the Pooh.' Stephen then served as a supervising director at Walt Disney Television Animation on the first season of 'Monsters at Work' for Disney+. After leaving Disney in 2021, he was animation director for 'Young Love,' a series that premiered on Max in 2023. He also storyboarded on 'The Garfield Movie' for Alcon Entertainment and 'Disney Junior’s Ariel' for Wild Canary. Having returned to Disney in 2024, Stephen is now directing a new half hour special featuring Tiana and her friends from 2009's 'The Princess and the Frog.'
