There have been four Steve Moores in animation - don't be confused! Starting out at CalArts in 1981, this Steve has been an animator, storyboard artist, director, and producer. His credits include The Brave Little Toaster, The Nightmare Before Christmas, A Goofy Movie, Coraline, Despicable Me, and most recently, Swapped. He directed the Emmy nominated TV special Olive, the Other Reindeer, and the Oscar nominated short Redux Riding Hood - which you can see at this year's Lightbox Expo!

Lost Shorts of Disney TV Animation

In 1995, Disney TV Animation green-lit a direct-to-video compilation of shorts to be called “Totally Twisted Tales”. Four shorts went into production, only two were completed for release – “Redux Riding Hood” and “The Three Pigs”. The project was scrapped. The two completed shorts where shown in a variety of festivals, winning several awards, then they were put away in the Disney vault, where they have languished until now! Thanks to the Lightbox Expo, you lucky people can enjoy these long lost shorts presented by their directors.
