Hi, I'm Tato (tomatatoro)! I'm a cartoonist and story artist inspired by slapstick manga, toy and character culture, and whatever else happens to be my current fixation.
I've always been drawing goofy stories, but I didn't always know I could make a living from it -- I worked in economics for the better half of my career. But at some point I got fed up and quit. With the help of some friends, I put together a storyboard portfolio, and I started my new career in animation as part of the Pixar Story Intern program. Today, I work at Disney TV.
On the side, I make comics, illustrations, toys, and other merchandise that I sell online and at local art markets.
