The Superhero Project (They/Them)

Booth 921

IMAGINATION. INCLUSION. REPRESENTATION. JOY. The Superhero Project harnesses the power of the arts as a tool for healing and empowers youth impacted by serious illnesses, disabilities, and complex mental health or medical needs. We interview kids and teens about who they are beyond their diagnosis and how they will make a positive difference in the world. Each child is then matched with a member of our global League of Extraordinary Artists, digital illustrators who design the superhero alter egos they describe - visual representations of their strength, courage, and creativity. "It's great to work on amazing projects like movies and games, but it's the lives we touch that are our true legacy. That's why I love working with The Superhero Project." - Bobby Chiu, Co-founder, LightBox Expo, Imaginism Studios, & Schoolism.com
