IMAGINATION. INCLUSION. REPRESENTATION. JOY.
The Superhero Project uses the arts as a tool for healing and empowers youth impacted by illnesses, disabilities, and complex mental health, developmental or medical needs. We interview kids and teens about who they are beyond their diagnosis and how they will make a positive difference in the world. Each child is then matched with a member of our global League of Extraordinary Artists, the digital illustrators who design the superhero alter egos based on their ideas and photos. These extraordinary characters become are visual representations of their strength, courage, and creativity.
"It's great to work on amazing projects like movies and games, but it's the lives we touch that are our true legacy. That's why I love working with The Superhero Project."
