Star Prichard, aka TheStarfishface, is an artist from Austin, TX. She graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in animation with a minor in storyboarding. Currently, she works as a freelance comic artist and illustrator.
She is most well-known for her webcomic Castoff, a fantasy-adventure series about a group of magical misfits on the run from the law. The series began in 2015, and is still running, updating every Monday and Friday. Additionally, in 2021, she published her book How to Webcomic, a comprehensive guide to making online comics.
She is also a YouTube creator, creating art-related content including art/writing/webcomic tutorials, her "Art + Storytime" series, and drawing livestreams.
