Appeal and the Objectively Good

Appeal is subjective, elusive, and very difficult to quantify, but it makes our art BEAUTIFUL.
I will discuss how I understand appeal, break it down into fundamental components, and get as close as possible to objectivity.
(Fair warning, this might get a little scientific…)
Then we can build back up to ideas and techniques that everyone can use in their artwork, now with an understanding of why the art we love looks SO GOOD.
